Guys going to Rowan 5k on Thursday

The guys will be going to the Rowan 5k this Thursday, 7/22. We'll leave from the CR parking lot at 5:30pm. Parents will need to transport (car pool). The cost of the race is $3. After the race we will meet with Rowan Coach Ringo Adamson to review running bio mechanics (form).

Jamie ran cross country and track at Salem H.S., where he set numerous school and county records. He then attended the University of North Carolina on a running scholarship. While there he was a member of a National Championship cross country team. Jamie continued to run after college, competing in races throughout the United States. Jamie has been coaching runners for about 25 years. He has coached with running clubs, high schools and colleges. He has also previously served on the NJ Governor’s Physical Fitness Council. He also directs the Parvins Cross Country Training Camp each August and conducts 5k races for area runners.

Jamie is the pastor of Carll’s Corner Community Fellowship and is involved in many community activities.
